Cheronn Collins
Cheronn is the Founder and CEO of HR Matters Today, a human resources consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations build strong, people-centered workplaces. With more than two decades of experience across public, private, nonprofit, and start-up environments, she brings a deep and practical understanding of how leaders shape culture, performance, and organizational health.
A passionate learning and development practitioner, Cheronn has designed and facilitated numerous leadership development programs, including HR curricula grounded in Emotional Intelligence 2.0 assessments that help participants better understand themselves and collaborate more effectively.
An active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Cheronn has served in several leadership roles, including President of the Montgomery County, MD SHRM Chapter and Certification Director for the Maryland SHRM State Council. She teaches the SHRM Certification Prep+Course for Education Partners at Montgomery College and Morgan State University, and also facilitates SHRM’s Human Resources Essentials, Workplace Investigations, Total Rewards, and additional professional development programs.
